For sale is my beloved 1960 Skagit Sedan Cruiser. She's a 20'er, and solid. Like all my projects, I put a ton of effort into it, try to pay attention to all the details, then once the project is finished ( or almost finished) I start thinking about my next project. Also found out my wife isn't as into boating as I thought she was. Bummer. Anyway, the boat is pretty complete. All the trim is there and in good shape. Transom is solid, replaced about 7 years ago when I got the boat. Same with the floor, grey sand finish so you don't slip. Gelcoat was beyond salvage so put a nice 2-part poly paint on- white and seafoam green. Motor is a non-period correct merc 115, ran smooth but had a pinhole leak around one of the carbs so had to prime after sitting for a half hour or so. Upholstery is Seafoam green w/ white piping, and included is 2 extra seats and a bench for the next owner to install to complete the seating. I wused the boat for fishing so I left the back open. Trailer is super solid, could be great for a long haul. 2" ball. Anyway, if you have any questions, or you are interested in the boat, leave a message.
O ya, I am in So. Cal.
What a great looking boat,, wish I could have her, but it's far away. I'm in NY and alreay own a Searay. My Searay is a nice boat but nowhere as cool as your Sagit!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Searays are pretty cool, too.
